Frequently Asked Questions

What types of patients do you see?

I provide psychiatric care for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, perinatal mental health concerns, trauma-related concerns, and life transitions. I take a whole-person, integrative approach to support long-term wellness.

I also have a special interest in perinatal mental health and supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum

Do you prescribe medication?

Yes. As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, I provide evidence-based medication management as part of personalized treatment plans.

Do you offer holistic or natural options?

Yes. I take an integrative approach to care, combining evidence-based psychiatry with lifestyle interventions and, when appropriate, targeted supplements. Some clients prefer a more natural approach, while others benefit from medication or a combination of both. Treatment is always personalized and tailored to your goals.

Do you provide therapy or counseling?

I focus primarily on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. While I do provide supportive guidance during visits, I collaborate with therapists for ongoing talk therapy.

What is integrative psychiatry?

Integrative psychiatry is an approach that combines conventional psychiatric care, like medication management, with holistic strategies to support your overall well-being. This can include lifestyle changes, nutrition, and, when appropriate, supplements that may help with mood, anxiety, or sleep. The goal is to treat the whole person, not just symptoms, so care is personalized to your needs.

How long are appointments?

Initial evaluations: approximately 60 minutes

Follow-up appointments: approximately 30 minutes

Do you accept insurance?
